Emile Beshai served in the federal government for 23 years in various technical and leadership roles including US Department of Treasury Chief Enterprise Architect; and at the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) in several capacities including Division Chief and Assistant Director and Chief Information Officer (CIO). While serving at FinCEN, Emile initiated and directed the development of BSA analytical systems and the Egmont Secure Web Platform which continues to grow as a secure global network of Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) in over 115 countries collaborating in fighting crimes including Financial Fraud and Money Laundering. Emile chaired the International Egmont Technology Group for 3 years and travelled to over 25 countries to develop and promote such network. Emile also served at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as Information Sharing Chief Enterprise Architect.
After his service in the Federal Government, Emile accepted a role with Northrop Grumman Corp. as a Solutions Architecture Executive for 3 years then with Freddie Mac for 5 years as a Senior Technical Architecture and Governance leader.
Emile holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Business and Information Technology from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor’s degree from Ain Shams University. Emile also holds multiple IT and Cybersecurity certificationsand he is a part-time IT and Cybersecurity Adjunct Professor.
